Wednesday Frills | Transitioning into Spring

Top / OTK Boots / Purse / Sunglasses / Jeans

Happy Hump Day! I thought today would be a good day to show off some pretty two-toned frills and talk about transitioning to spring! In some parts of the country it’s really starting to warm up, but not in the PNW… I’m finding it really hard to see all these spring clothes pop up everywhere but I’m still bundled up in my big puffy raincoat! Hoping by the time we hit April we’ll get some pretty sun and warmer days.

So, this outfit is one of my new favorites! The top is from Chicwish on sale for 15% off right now, BUT they only have two left in stock! So hurry on over and grab it before it’s gone. I saw this top on another blogger I follow on Instagram and went and bought it. I wasn’t sure how it would fit or what the material would be, but I fell in love! The two tones are really fun and bright to get you started with spring color, and the frills and bell sleeves are so cute. I get compliments on it all the time and feel like a super star when I wear it!

I’ve paired it with some white jeans that are so comfy. These are from Articles of Society and fit like a glove. I have a hard time finding pants to really fit but also feel comfortable, and these are it! I don’t know what that rule of white and labor day is, but I think these are perfect to transition into spring! It’s too cold for shorts or dresses without tights, so these are a great way to brighten things up while still staying warm.

Okay, these boots!!! I had them on my wish list for weeks and finally caved and bought them. They’re from a site called Boohoo and I wasn’t quite sure about their stuff at first, but I was really happy with my order with them. Be careful if you do buy these because the sizing is UK, so check the converter before you purchase! I found that out the hard way. They also have them in black which would be great for winter, but with spring I wanted the lighter color. They are my new favorite!

That’s it for today’s post, I am off to do more studying and essay writing! Happy midterms to me 🙂

Thanks for reading, happy hump day!
