Shop The Post:
Alright, how stinkin’ cute is this little top? I got it from the Nordstrom Sale, which still has a few days left to shop! It’s one of those tops that I think can be worn year-round which makes it even better. Bell sleeves are really in right now and the sleeves on this top are so pretty and flowy. Plus it’s under $50 during the sale!
So since today is the last day of July, aka the last full month of summer (what..) I wanted to sum up the month of July! This month was filled with so much fun stuff and I think July just screams summer.
This month was kicked off with the 4th of July, which was really lowkey this year but one of the more fun ones I’ve had! The 4th of July is so hyped up like NYE and all the hype can be overwhelming and also pressuring for us college kids. We just have to have something fun and big to do! I personally am not a fan of all the hype, so I was really pleased to spend my 4th on the lake, paddle boarding & watching the best fireworks ever (in my opinion) right from the boat.
July was also one of the busiest months I’ve ever had! I didn’t start teaching dance until this month, so during the beginning of summer I only had two jobs, while this month I had three. I totally don’t mind being busy, but it’s all starting to catch up to me (and made apparent when my alarm just didn’t go off and I slept two hours into dance (but it turned out okay) yikes).
I also got to see my bestie, finally, for a fun day in Portland, and more fun nights with friends! I love all of my jobs currently, but also love making the most of the summer and being on the lake, the river, and floating/relaxing–which I’m happy to say I did a lot of in July!
While July was an overall fun but crazy month, I am ready for August! College is quickly wrapping up which is nuts to think about, but I can’t wait to go back in a few shorts weeks. Seriously. I have never been this ready to get back to business! I also have family from across the country coming to visit us in the PNW and we’re going to do everything and anything you can imagine doing out here! I can’t wait for a little staycation.
That’s it for today, I hope you all had a great July and are looking forward to what next month holds! Bring it on August.
